Vision loss can have a devastating impact on people's lives. We know that the impact is felt not only by those experiencing vision loss, but also by those who love and care about them.

Currently, Aotearoa New Zealand has no formal data on the frequency of causes of vision loss and no comprehensive eye health strategies, policies or frameworks to plan for and measure progress in eye health and vision care.

We need to show the Government that eye health matters to all Kiwis.

We're asking the Government to fund the first-ever National Eye Health Survey in Aotearoa New Zealand, to provide truly representative and current New Zealand population-based data on the prevalence and causes of vision impairment.
