We hope that you are having a wonderful summer.

Our most exciting news is that the new Eye Health Aotearoa Strategic Plan 2025 – 2027 is complete. The Strategic Plan is on our website for you to view.

We believe this plan will lead to impactful actions and guide the Eye Health Aotearoa Trust toward reaching our vision of Optimal Eye Health for all New Zealanders.

Congratulations to our new Minister of Health, Hon Simeon Brown, MP for Pakuranga.  We hope to work with him, the Eye Health National Clinical Network and our Parliamentary Friends of Eye Health to continue to raise the importance of eye health.

We are busy preparing for our next awareness campaign which will focus on regular eye checks at all ages, spreading this message as widely as possible.

Did you know that two-yearly eye checks are the best way to look after your eyes and prevent vision loss? Find your local optometrist and make an appointment today.

Eye Health Aotearoa is also currently reaching out to other stakeholders in the eye care sector within Aotearoa New Zealand, to work collaboratively and to do what no one organisation can do alone.
