Roche has been committed to improving lives for more than 120 years. Headquartered in Basel, Switzerland, Roche continues to search for better ways to prevent, diagnose and treat diseases and make a sustainable contribution to society. Roche has had a presence in New Zealand since 1973, and is focused on saving people’s eyesight from the leading causes of vision loss through pioneering therapies and partnerships, to deliver total vision solutions tailored to individual needs.

Eye Health Aotearoa is a multi-sector collaborative of representatives from across the eye health sector. Members of the Trust have banded together with the goal of ensuring that all New Zealanders can access equitable, quality eye health services and prevent avoidable vision loss.

The Memorandum of Understanding that was signed today outlines how Roche and Eye Health Aotearoa will work cooperatively for the benefit of New Zealanders’ eye health. We’re very proud of this partnership and the impact we plan to make together.
