Statement of Support and Commitment
We support Eye Health Aotearoa’s call to ensure all New Zealanders can access equitable, quality, eye health services to prevent avoidable vision loss.
We call on all the Parliamentary Parties to make eye health count in their policies by committing to our seven point action plan. The action plan is achievable and affordable, and will close the eye health and vision loss gap in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Together, we can ensure that New Zealand invests more in eye health awareness, education, treatment and rehabilitation so people know how to take care of their eyes at every stage of life.
